This is with the first coat of BLACK Venetian Plaster

Step 4. This is me sanding down the Venetian Plaster. I start with 100 grid rough sandpaper and then 220,320,400,600,and final 1000 grid and it starts getting shiny with no finish on it. I worked on this fore about 6 hours.

Step 5.This is with the sanding finished, tape off, and a wax coat applied, notice the shine on the right. You can see your reflection off this stuff at this point.

Step 6. I also got started on the bar, I cut 1/4in wood and used Tin and copper flashing. if you look at the previous drawing of this it should start making sense at this point. I will tape off the black squares at this point and do the remaining squares in a white.

Step 7. I taped off the black tiles and ceiling and put the first coat of white/grey/blue down. I will take 3 days for this to dry and get hard so I can sand it down.

Step 8. This is the drawing on wood back board for the parking lot. It will go behind the windows in the big painting. I taped off the awning and cement sidewalk and will do the trees, sky, and pavement venetian plaster Sunday. I also have the kitchen drawing on wood but the photo did not come out. This is over 5ft wide and will be an art work by itself alone.

Step 9. This is the first coat of Venetian Plaster for the sky, trees, grass, asphalt. 3 days from now I will sand this down and do a 2nd coat. The top part that is taped off will be a big awning over the cars and people I will populate this with. The bottom taped off part will be a cement sidewalk between the cars with watress"s on rollar skates. Not a very good photo, but in the end this will be very cool. It goes behind the door and windows of the main art work.

Peace brother"s and sister"s, I have been working on the project today and here I am sanding, and sanding so I can keep warm, because it is colder than a well digger"s ass today.
